MBBS Study pattern in Bangladesh
The Bangladesh Medical College offers five years of MBBS courses and a one-year internship/clerkship as required by the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council leading to an MBBS degree at the University of Dhaka, Rajshahi Medical University, Chittagong Medical University, or Sylhet Medical University. The academic session shall be from January each year or as suggested by Government. MBBS course comprises five (5) Years, followed by a logbook-based rotatory internship (Clinical clerkship) for one year.
Bangladesh Medical Study System closely followed from Indian NMC/MCI Curriculum same Indian author Books you have to study. Same 5 years MBBS Course like India or Nepal same British Curriculum.

MBBS CURRICULUM IN BANGLADESH
The MBBS in Bangladesh course comprises five years, followed by a rotatory internship (optional for Indian Doctors) of one year which can be opt-in to own country. The course follows a semester system, each semester consisting of six months. The MBBS course is divided into 3 stages, viz. Pre-clinical, Para-clinical, and Clinical Phase.

Subject for Different Professional Examination is as follows:
Pre-Clinical, Para-Clinical, and Clinical Phase, during which the following subjects are introduced:
In 1st Professional – Pre-clinical, Duration: 1½ years
1. Anatomy
2. Physiology
3. Biochemistry
In 2nd Professional – Para-clinical, Duration 1 years
1. Community Medicine
2. Forensic Medicine and Toxicology
In 3rd Professional, Duration 1 year
1. Pharmacology and Therapeutic
2. Pathology
3. Microbiology
In 4th or Final Professional – Clinical Phase, Duration 1½ years
1. Medicine
2. Surgery
3. Obstetrics and Gynecology
Examination Schedule
There shall be four professional examinations as follows:
- First Professional Exam. End of 1½ (One and a Half) years
- Second Professional Exam. End of 2½ years
- Third Professional Exam End of 3½ years
- Final Professional Exam. End of 5 years
